+ About the Training +

Become a Certified Native Youth Leadership Trainer!

The Native Youth Leadership Curriculum is a dynamic 10-lesson curriculum designed to empower Native youth and strengthen their leadership skills, grounded in cultural values and cultural teachings.

This training is ideal for adults working with Native youth, including youth program staff, educators, tribal leaders, mentors, and others dedicated to supporting the next generation. Through engaging lessons and activities, the curriculum helps youth explore identity, wellness, leadership, healthy relationships, connection to community, and more.

The training will be hands-on and experiential, with opportunities for participants to practice and present their knowledge to deepen understanding and confidence.

After completing the training, you’ll be certified to
deliver Native Youth Leadership workshops in your own community. Please note: this certification does not authorize you to certify others as trainers. Participants will receive hands-on learning, a copy of the curriculum, and a certificate of completion, making this a powerful resource for youth and community programs.
