+ About the Training +

Whether working for an Indian tribe, a Native-serving organization, or serving the Indigenous population, being an ally is crucial. This three-day training allows participants to define allyship and explore effective ways to serve and engage with Native people and communities. The training addresses the impact of oppression on workplace dynamics, delving into racism, micro and macroaggressions, bias, privilege, and fragility. Participants will gain insights into healing strategies, equipped with tools for self-care and self-reflection, ensuring they leave with a well-stocked toolkit to be a better ally in Indian Country. The three-day training will include case studies, discussions on being a decolonized ally, and strategies for engagement.
