About the Training

Native youth need caring adults to provide guidance, support, direction, and skills for personal growth and development. The Native Youth Leadership Gathering does just that. Activities focus on their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being and help to prepare them to be positive contributing members in their school, family, and community. Youth participants engage in a journey of ceremony, sharing, learning, and experiencing leadership development. Youth from throughout Native Country will be able to learn about healing, Native wellness, leadership, spirituality, and healthy risk-taking. In addition, they will meet other youth who are on similar paths and will be able to network and connect with other amazing youth.​​​

​Traveling to Great Wolf Lodge

From Sky Harbor International Airport
Take the 202 East to merge onto the 101 North. Exit at Talking Stick Way/Indian Bend Road and turn left.  Turn right on Pima Road and the Lodge will be on the right.

From the East Valley
Take the US-60 West toward Phoenix. Merge onto the 101 North toward Scottsdale. Exit at Talking Stick Way/Indian Bend Road and turn left.  Turn right on Pima Road.  The Lodge will be on the right.

From the Northwest Valley
Take the 101 North toward Scottsdale. Exit at Via de Ventura and turn right.  Turn left on Pima Road and the Lodge will be on the left side.

From the Southwest Valley, Tucson, and Southern Arizona
Take the I-10 West toward Phoenix. Merge onto the 202 East. After approximately nine miles, merge onto the 101 North. Exit at Talking Stick Way/Indian Bend Road and turn left.  Turn right on Pima Road and the Lodge will be on the right.

From North Phoenix and Northern Arizona
Take the I-17 South toward Phoenix. Merge onto the 101 North. Exit at Via de Ventura and turn right.  Turn left on Pima Road and the Lodge will be on the left side.

Cancelation Policy

Registrants who are unable to attend may send a replacement at no additional charge. Please provide us with the name of the replacement before the training. No refunds will be given for paid registrations, however, we can provide a credit for a future training. Training credits will expire after one year. If a participant is unable to attend and no cancellation is made prior to the training or replacement is made, the FULL amount of registration will be charged as a no-show fee.
