Shannon Kissinger

Project Director 

Shannon has an Associates Degree from Grays Harbor College in the Native Pathways Program and is currently enrolled in a bachelors program at the Evergreen State College with a focus in Native studies. She has been with NWI for over 15 years. She started as an office manager with NWI in 2005 after working in banking, bookkeeping and restaurant management prior. Shannon coordinates all aspects of NWI's events from conference planning, registration management, marketing to onsite registration and support. In addition she is responsible for NWI's graphic design projects, social media, email marketing, website, bookkeeping and more. When not working she spends her time creating all kinds of art, beading, weaving, drawing as well as being outdoors hiking, kayaking or just enjoying nature. ​
