Using the GONA FrameworkMay 24 - 25, 2022
Online via Zoom Registration Fee: $199 About the TrainingThe Gathering of Native Americans (GONA) was developed nearly four decades ago as a community healing and wellness gathering. It’s a gathering that helps to link historical and intergenerational trauma to the current day unhealthy behaviors that we see and experience in our communities today as well as focusing on our cultural strengths as tools for living in balance.
This virtual training will provide the history of the GONA, the GONA framework and the processes that guide you through the four developmental phases, how to plan one, how to facilitate one and what the benefits are to your community. Participants will experience many of the activities that are included in a GONA and discussions will take place in small and large groups. |
