Well for Culture: 7 Circles of WellnessMay 13 - 14, 2021
Online Via Zoom Registration Fee: $175 About the Training-WELL FOR CULTURE (WFC) is a grassroots initiative which aims to reclaim and revitalize Indigenous health and wellness. WFC studies and implements the lifestyle teachings of our ancestors, meanwhile incorporating new information to contribute to this ancient and ongoing chain of knowledge. Indigenous culture has always been dynamic, and wellness is an inherent aspect.
Strong Indigenous nations are built by strong individuals. WFC acknowledge the strength and healing power of our ancestral teachings, and we aim to guide others toward applying these values and ideas to achieve optimal wellness today. WFC has been taught that life is all about balance - mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional. All of these elements are interconnected, and wellness should be approached holistically, just as our ancestors have taught us to approach the human experience. This two day interactive training will teach about this movement, the 7circles of wellness, how to integrate Well For Culture strategies in your program or community and tools for you, and your staff to better live in balance. |
